The Challenge
Slack needed a new creative campaign to target potential job seekers. This presented an opportunity for us that could lead to other future Slack projects.
The Solution
After conducting research, we developed three messaging pillars to guide the creative campaign:
• Driving the global shift to digital-first work
• Fostering a truly inclusive community
• Unlocking innovation with human-centric tools
These pillars, in turn, led us to the tagline: "Where your future works." Slack makes the extraordinary happen every day, bringing a new way of working to life. At the center of the innovation, behind all the technological advancements, it's about people: customers who delight in simple, useful solutions, and team members who have a voice and a place to be curious and real. Work is different here. Work is meaningful and fun. What we do here works for everyone.
Art Direction
All headlines begin with "Work where..." to reinforce that this messaging is about working at Slack. The illustrations support the headlines and convey Slack's unique culture, approachability, and brand personality. Each illustration was customized to match Slack's brand, from the clothing and facial expressions to the colors.

The Results
The client's enthusiastic response to the creative refresh, especially our integration of illustrations and headlines, opened the door to a new project. This involved creating short videos centered around the taglines "Hello, from the future of work" and "The future of work works here."
Storyboard and Video
We developed two storyboards to present to the client, who loved them and gave us the green light to move forward with video production. The next challenge was adapting the stock illustrations, customizing each one to align with Slack's brand. Once the illustrations were revised, we could then transform the storyboard mockups into animated videos.
