The Challenge
The team was asked to explore design ideas for visuals to complement articles written by Mach49's Venture Teams.
The Solution
The team brainstormed ideas and visuals that would work with Mach49's latest rebrand. The final deliverable was an ebook, suitable for printing or use as a digital element.
Art Direction
Each team member had a role in creating the ebook. My task was to create visuals for some of the pages. Using the headlines as inspiration, I generated designs in Midjourney. I then used Photoshop to colorize key areas and placed the designs into layouts for composition. Finally, I made adjustments to ensure the headlines and copy worked well with the visuals. The examples below are the designs I created for the ebook.

The Results
The ebook was a success with the leadership team at Mach49. They loved the visuals and how they connected with the articles.
Midjourney Prompt Images
I took my AI-generated images into Photoshop and converted them to grayscale. Then, I added a green duotone and masked out the areas where I didn't want the green to appear.
Layout Placement
Below is a series of images I created for Mach49's ebook. I experimented with layout positioning and provided the team with options to choose from; the images that they selected were eventually included in the ebook.
